To save time and space (thus speed), to do the following tutorial you should complete the Outlined Text tutorial first. In the first part we learned to use light to make the inner letters brighter giving the appearance of an outline. In this part we'll see how to use light again to make the inner text even nicer. Here's what the text will look after a very little surgery:

Remember, everything we do here doesn't change the object to an image, it's always text. This way you can make many copies of that object and edit the text. All your text will then have the same appearance. Here's how I do it!

If you like the effect you created, you can save it to the EasyPalette as a material for further use by clicking the Add button. To save the material follow these instructions:
In the future simply drag your thumbnail from the EasyPalette on any text or shape.
